So excited to showcase this trailer for Kino Sum Productions’ new documentary "Borrowed From Nature" telling the story of Japanese-Canadian garden designer Roy Tomomuchi Sumi. I had the honour and fortune to add some music to this film. His story of resilience, courage, and creativity is one that many creatives need to hear right now. Maybe you do too!

“Borrowed From Nature” is to premiere on CBC’s Gem November 13 and will air in BC and Alberta on CBC TV at 7pm on Nov. 14. Iva Delic’s score can be heard throughout the film.
